Our students can trust that they will receive a world-class education while they are abroad with SAI. Each program and host school that we offer has been carefully reviewed and selected for academic rigor as well as cultural exposure and integration.
SAI offers U.S. credit for all undergraduate coursework through a U.S. accredited university. Students receive official U.S. transcripts, either directly from the host school or through SAI’s partner school of record with U.S. accreditation. See each school page for information on the U.S. credits awarded.
Graduate coursework and Master’s degrees are awarded as host school academic credit, although in some instances U.S. credit can be attained. An official transcript is issued at the completion of the students’ SAI program.
Credit transfer for study abroad is ultimately determined by the students’ 金殿棋牌 school. SAI has over twenty years of experience in providing the information necessary for students to properly transfer credits back to their 金殿棋牌 school. We provide detailed course descriptions, syllabi, contact hours, and professor information to help 金殿棋牌 schools with course equivalencies.
Most universities have a process for pre-approving classes and credits that students wish to take abroad. SAI can provide a worksheet for students to complete this process on their own. It is important for students to meet with their academic advisor and study abroad advisor to understand how their school will handle study abroad credits. Some universities count credits earned abroad as pass/fail, while others convert the grade to a lettered grading scale. Additionally, some universities apply the credits earned abroad toward the student’s grade point average, while others do not.
